Yoga

This is how my journey with Yoga began. It is believed that first one has to visualize it, then dream about it and later apply it to one’s life style.. It is like breathing fresh air. Trust and respect one’s body and mind.

At an early age I watched my parents do the simple Asanas (Postures) early morning with my Father completing the practice with meditation and my mother saying her prayers. My parents taught me the disciplines of harnessing the mind with the body, which is what the word Yoga really means.

I practice Bikram Hot Yoga, Hatha yoga, Restorative Yoga & Therapeutic Yoga followed by 10 to 15 minutes of Chant meditation.

It will be my privilege to address individual yoga classes holistically. Yoga is an excellent therapy for children to learn to focus and how to link their body with their breath. Children are the future of our world.

It has been very meaningful for me to develop a story line and teach Yoga poses to 5yr olds at the YMCA and my 7 year old Grandson since he was a toddler.

Sharing simple mindful awareness practice along with Meditation in Assisted Living and Children in Hospitals going through with Cancer treatments. All this breath movement will help soothe and connect each heart in the room.

“I have been a seeker and still am, but I stopped asking the books and the stars. I started listening to the teaching of my soul.”
